Is Noynoy Worth the Presidency?

I think that Noynoy is not worth to be a president of the Philippines since he has not made any great accomplishment during the period when he was still a Senator of the Philippines. Another funny thing is that all his commercial ads always indicates that he is the son of the late Ninoy Aquino and Cory Aquino.

In fact did Cory Aquino really have great accomplishments in during her administration? I think you can refer to this blog: World War 2 Disaster and see why I am against the Aquino administration.

If Noynoy is really worth the presidency, he must not always reference himself to be the son of Ninoy or Cory Aquino and must present to the public what was his accomplishments during his term as a Senator.

Was Cory Aquino a True Hero?

First, my condolences to the Aquino family of the loss of their loved one.

Second, was Cory Aquino really a hero in the essence of the word and basing from what she have accomplished? Or was it just a coincidence that she had been used during the EDSA Revolution by politicians who had the hunger to oust President Ferdinand Marcos?

A very tough question to contemplate with...

In my own perspective, I do believe that former President Cory Aquino did have some accomplishments during her Presidency but most of her decisions that time were based from more than 40 presidential advisers and not from here own wisdom or intuition.

Another question is that: Was it really because of her that is why we had the first bloodless revolution in history?

I think for a fact that it is not because of her. Why?

Well, if you have watched a TV News program at that moment when President Ferdinand Marcos was airing live in one of the news station and tanks were all over the place in Camp Crame. Gen. Ver has been very angry in the situation of military members that were not loyal to the Chief of Staff (that is breaking the military honor code). He was talking to Marcos in a high pitch voice for the Chief of Staff to give order to him to start bombing Camp Crame and Camp Aguinaldo at that moment and he will give immediate instruction to the Army and Air Force units who were surrounding the area.

But Marcos was calm at that moment and told Gen. Ver not to give the orders. A sign that he loved the Filipino people and would never wanted to hurt anyone even if everyone was angry at him. He had all the powers at that moment to give the command to kill all those who have opposed the government and that was present in these two military bases.

So, I go back to the question: Was Cory really the main factor here that led to a bloodless revolution in EDSA?

If you have read my previous posts in this blog, you would know the plans of President Marcos to develop our country and if that revolution never happened there would be a great difference with our country's economic situation now an maybe, the Philippines is economically richer than Singapore or even China. Anyway, I will post the details of this statement if God permits it to be shared to the world. But as of now I have to focus on the achievements of President Cory Aquino.

The fact is, Cory was just a housewife before she got her career as a Philippine President. It was Ninoy who was a true hero and that she was just used by politicians at that time because nobody was brave enough to be the competitor of President Marcos. If ever she got killed in that event, they have other personalities as alternative to Cory to run for the Presidency at that moment. They just wanted to make sure that if she gets through to it then she will be the next target and it did happen. We are all aware of the numerous military coup de 'etat after she have taken her oath. In that part, I can consider her brave enough to face the challenges of her enemies who was under her administration.

I think I have to cut this topic short. I know more facts that can prove what I am saying here but there are things better left unsaid.

In conclusion, Cory is more inclined to be a saint rather than a hero. Her actions are more focused spiritually rather than her political achievements. In fact, her husband's death would not happen if only a proper interpration of a "manghuhula" from the northern part of the Philippines have been done when she told that: "... the next Philippine President would be a female..." and the rest was history. I am still thinking if I have to post the whole story in this blog regarding this matter. But I think it is too controversial at this moment of time.
